Haulover Beach Park, a mile and half of pure white Florida sand extending north from the Haulover Inlet is nestled on the southern end of a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. Across the inlet lies the Bal Harbour Village to the north the city of Sunny Isle Beach.
Haulover Beach Park is situated among 177 acres of Florida southeast coast, maintained by Dade County, the park offers beach goers a wide area of sandy beach, to the north end of the park the beach is known for its optional clothing area. As well as the beach the park includes a nine hole golf course, marina as well as tennis courts.
The marina at Haulover Beach Park is ranked as one of the best in Florida, just ten minutes from some of the best salt water fishing, the marina provides dockage for 106 private boats, several deep sea fishing charter boats, party boats, sightseeing glass bottom and moonlight cruise watercraft all leave from the marina.
Spacious parking lots on the bay side of the park are connected with the beach by pedestrian tunnels under A1A. The beach area is patrolled by lifeguards as well as having a life guard station.
