Immaculate, wide, clean, white sand beach, Copacabana stretches for 3 miles separating beautiful mountains and the deep blue waters of the Atlantic. Stretching between two historic forts, Fort Duque de Caxis to the north and Fort  Copacabana to the south the beach is also famous for its backdrop of high-rise buildings and Surgarloaf Mountain to the north.
